A link to a hotel, train company, car hire company or booking agency may earn us money if you follow it and book. This is called an affiliate link. Rivalta, Inc. holds these arrangements for Trip, Figured. Here is where the links appear and what they can never change.
Where they appear
There are no affiliate booking links on tripfigured.com today. Nothing you do on this public site earns us a commission. Links in the trip planner that send you to book may earn us money. We label those links where they appear, so you can see before you follow one.
What commission never decides
Payment never decides which city, hotel, train or activity we recommend, or their order on the page. Your route, your family’s needs and the choices you keep decide that. We use the same checks for companies that pay us and those that do not. An option that does not fit your plan stays out, even if it would pay us.
You book with the travel company
The hotel, train company or booking agency sells you the stay or ticket. They set the price and terms, take your payment, and handle changes, cancellations and refunds. Our planned fee is for the planning software, not for your travel bookings.
What the link tells the company
The link can tell the travel company that we sent you, so they know which bookings may earn us money. Under California law that referral may count as sharing your information. Our privacy notice explains your right to opt out.
